eggs

I stayed inside all day today and cleaned and caught up on school work. I got so behind during Kak's visit. I have been trying to fight the nesting urge but it's so bad, I can't help it. Tomorrow is a full moon, so maybe I'll pop. I doubt it though.

Mike made me go get my own Twix last night. I've been craving chocolate and bacon (ew). Also, it sucks not being able to talk to Nama for two weeks because she is on a cruise. Momma never picks up and Kak is always in class. I guess I'll just have to talk to Lucy all day.

We got her a potty and the first time we put her on it she peed! I tried again today and she just sat, no pee. But she likes her froggy potty. We are just introducing it to her now, so she is used to it when we can really get into it. After she is used to Jude.

Sorry, i've been idle.

This past week has been the busiest, most exhausting, yet fun week in a long time. Khaki's visit has flown by. We are waiting for Mike to bring us chips and dip so we can watch the Office for the last time until May.

Missoula was fun. Lucy had her bad moments but she really loved the Carousel. She hated swimming but would have rather walked around the pool, making us nervous. She had an appointment this week, she's 31 inches long and 27 pounds. Perfect! Poor baby had to get five shots though.

I go every week now for Jude. On Thursday I was 75% effaced and his head was down. Dr. Lee might give me an ultrasound next week just to double check his position. I tried like heck to get him to turn and I'm hoping it paid off.

Tonight we had the Hunsingers over for Krystal's birthday. We played Beatles monopoly while the guys watched basketball. Nama has been bugging me to blog, so this is going to be short. Our chips and dip are finally here. Here are some pics:

yeehaw

Khaki is finally in Montana and she can finally understand what I mean when I say Great Falls looks like a toilet. We are having fun though! Lucy and Khaki are best friends, she doesn't care about her ma anymore. She's over me.

Tomorrow we are staying in Missoula. It will be Kak's first trip out of town so she will actually get to see bison and mountains.

Yesterday we went to Sara's house and her husband Barry taught us to shoot guns. We've been discussing it for a few weeks and they are leaving soon to move to Florida. Plus Khaki is here so it was the best time to do it! I was so scared at first that it would hurt but he started us off with a little hand gun. I had a pretty good shot with the rifle, I only missed the target once. The shotgun was bad though, it kicked back, I hated it. Jude only jumped during the first shot and then he was over it. He's going to be a cowboy apparently.

Too many pics to post, so here is the album link:

strawberry fields forever

We are getting very excited in the Medeiros household because Aunt Kakak, our first family visitor in a year, is coming on Saturday! Lucy has been saying "Kakakakakak" in preparation. And cleaned her princess room for her. I booked a hotel in Missoula, three hours away, with an indoor waterpark. We are staying next Tuesday...I can't wait to float and heard it might make Jude turn. He's still transverse and it's nerve wracking.

Yesterday we had a few people over from the shop and such. Mike made some good steaks and chicken and I have been eating the left over chocolate dipped strawberries I made all day.

Lucy was extra adorable today, she went to the park. Tomorrow it's going to be gorgeous out. We spend a lot of time outside, for sure.

We are going to get ice cream so here are some pics!

exhausted!

Today Mike got out early and we picked up Lucy's pictures from sears. So expect them in the mail soon! Lucy and I also got new shoes and Da got a suit from any VIP he goes on. He got an allowance for a suit and we only spent a hundred dollars so we have a lot left over.

Tomorrow we are going to go to the pool and we have our pre-admit/tour of the hospital! So exciting! Yet again, quick update. Droid pics. I'll take some pretty ones soon!

...Or not

It's snowing today. I hate when it is grey out. My house doesn't have windows on the side so it gets cave-like. Also, I think my bones are starting to stretch out. I need one of Daddy's trusty old canes. This weekend was the last of the spring weather I suppose, so much for collecting freckles. Lucy loves playing outside. She'll stand at the door and tap on the glass until I have chubby finger prints all over it.

She got new shoes today. Princess ones that light up. I highly doubt they'll match any spring or summer outfit ever, but that's what sandals are for.

Mike's career has gotten a lot of attention lately. Because of the Hurt Locker. It's kind of annoying me that it had to take the entertainment business for people to know what my hubby does but I should be grateful that people are learning. I really didn't like that movie, I thought it was kind of boring. I'm more of a chick flick person anyways.

Mike and I got an awesome digital camcorder for our anniversary from my family. I can't wait to add video to this blog. Expect lots of Lucy dancing. I'm putting it in our hospital bag too, so Mike can have a dual role as a documentarian/doula. Also, the Hunsingers are back! I finally saw Grayson, he's so little, I forgot how tiny they come. And Lucy played with January all day yesterday, they have their own little language. And it was a sippy war pretty much constantly. Lucy is a bully!

Okay, I have laundry to fold, as usual. It's an endless cycle.

It feels like Spring

I have been enjoying the weather all weekend. It's been around 60 here and Sunny. Cootness and I went for a walk at Giant Springs. She hasn't been since she was about 6 months old. Today was Da and Coot day, they played outside for a while and flew a kite. I went shopping by myself, which never happens.

Mike and I got new phones and have been playing with them all night. We still have the same phone numbers but switched to Verizon because Alltel was horrible.

I'm extremely sleepy, sorry for the crappy update.

TGIF

Today Lucy and I had a girls day out. We got mini subs and then I got my eyebrows done. The woman continued to wax until I had basically no more eyebrows left and gave me a rash from the wax. I'm calling Mastercuts tomorrow and complaining. We also went to Old Navy and got some cute clothes for Lucy and I. I am neglecting Jude. I think once he comes out, I won't feel so turned off by all the ugly boy clothes that exist. There was a Star Wars t-shirt I almost bought him but it wasn't on sale. I still need to buy him a baby book too.

We are hoping to go swimming this weekend at the city pool. I really can't wait to just float. And Khaki comes in two weeks! I can't wait. We are going to have a "dut date" night and Mike is going to watch LC.

Here are some pics of that coot thing we all know and love:
