I can't wait until my Nikon is all better.

It's the weekend! Today we attempted to look for a changing table for cheap and could not find one in all of Great Falls. So Da is just going to change Lucy in Jude's room right next door. We also went to the grocery store and did our shopping for the week. I've been craving a lot of fruit so I got that satisfied.

There isn't anything to do here in the Winter. I don't know what I'll do next winter when I don't have a child to plan for. Just play games with Lucy and Jude I suppose.

Not much going on but I did upload some pictures from my crappy cell phone. I a sending the Nikon in to get fixed on Monday so hopefully I'll start putting up quality pictures soon!

Our new adventure

We have deciding to hop on the cloth diaper train and try it out. We did the math and it's just too beneficial. Also good for the environment and for Lucy's bum. It's mainly to try and find a cure for her sensitive skin more than anything else. We went with the bumGenius brand. They are one size too which is awesome.

For those who are interested in also cloth diapering or just out of curiosity, here is the link
http://www.bumgenius.com/

and the retail one:

I bought enough for during the day and we will use a disposable at night until I buy some more. Jude and Lucy can use the same. But she will have her own special pink ones OF COURSE. I'm so excited for our investment!

I spent a lot of money yesterday on the kids but it has to be done. I can't believe i only have 87 days left. Hopefully less than that because I already can't function.

Girls Day Out

Today Lucy and I had so much fun. We went on a girls day out, no da's allowed. We went shopping for some princess stuff for her room. We couldn't find the toy chest so we got some princess boxes to store her diaper stuff in while we wait for Wallyworld to get some more in. We also got stuff for her little brother and pajamas that said "Her Royal Cuteness." They were so perfect.

We also went to subway for lunch because mini subs are her favorite thing in the world. Now Da is home, so girls day out is over. We are going to grab something to eat and hopefully have a good weekend, despite the fact that work is taking over as usual. He has to work on Sunday.

Here are some pictures of our projects and a big belly:

I Love Lucy

Thank goodness she is in a good mood today. She's making me feel better. We just did a manicure and pedicure. Miraculously her toe polish stayed on but all but two fingers are now polish free. She just got a long bath to make her bum bum feel better. We are always battling a diaper rash, she has sensitive skin.

Here's me and LC after bath time:

this cheers me up, always

Hump Day Sucked.

I'm in a really bad mood. I just want to relax for once. But tomorrow is going to be more of the same because I have an eye doctor's appointment so I can renew my license out of state. It's just not easy being this pregnant and dragging Lucy around everywhere. Whatever. When she's 6 years old maybe we can have a relative babysit her when I have somewhere to go.

But it's not just having to drag her everywhere, it's never having any me time. I used to get some when Mike went to bed early and Lucy with him. I would usually go to starbucks and read or watch my shows. It's how I kept sane. I also used to buy myself at least one item a month. I can't remember the last time I actually got something for me. I've been putting off ten dollar hair dye for about the past 3 months.

I am so stressed out that Jude is coming so soon and we barely have anything for him. This is going to lead to a huge drop of money within a month, which will also stress me out. Because we haven't been gradually buying things, we will have to buy it all at once.

And to top it off, my lasagna was in the oven for 50 minutes. But the oven magically turned off. So it's baking again. And I'm starving. I hate making lasagna.

I can't wait to get in my pjs, watch American Idol and kiss today's ass good bye.

What a looong day.

Today consisted of waking up early for my WIC appointment, driving on unplowed streets and swerving all over the road, to get there and their computers were down. For two days! And no one called me. How inconsiderate is that? It's not Rhode Island. I actually have to drive a decent way to get to this place. But I need to get on WIC now, so we can get free formula. I'm not planning on breastfeeding. I had a terrible experience with Lucy and it kinda just creeps me out. I don't want to be someone's food source. Formula works just fine.

Lucy and Da are playing in her "apartment" right now. We miss going outside and going to the park. Why is it that after Christmas time winter seems to drag? I can't wait for it to be nice out, so we can eat dinner on the patio and use our fire pit. Not to mention, Nama, Momma and Khaki have all bought their tickets for Montana!

I wish I could take the train to see Julie. I sooo would right now if I wasn't hauling around this butterball all day. My back is killing me. Probably because I've been nesting like crazy. I'm probably going to wash Jude's crib sheets tomorrow, so when the crib comes I can put them right on. And the cats can get their hair in it because they think they are babies.

For those who aren't on facebook (aka the old peeps) here are some pictures of Lucy before the camera died:

27 week belly shot

Pretty big.

Lucy Brushing her teeth

Try to ignore the massive burn on her hand and focus on the cootness of her big girl activities. It's pretty hilarious.

My little man: 26 weeks.

Needless to say, it's getting really hard to breathe and move in general. Belly pics will be up soon.

Today was productive.

We went to H & R Block to get our taxes done. Turns out we are getting a really good refund. Half of which is going directly into savings so four years from now we can buy our first house. Westerly seems to be our dream town as of now. It is slightly rural, yet beachy and has a great school system. All I want is a cute little house, with room in the back for Lucy and Jude's organic garden. And a farm near by where we can get eggs and milk in a glass jar.

I have all day to fantasize about this stuff. I'll probably be slightly disappointed when our first house requires a crazy amount of work. And when the local farmer charges through the roof for his eggs. But at least I will be much closer to my brothers so they can actually get to know Lucy. Their "niece" haha.

It's been snowing for the past two days here. Which means I am stuck inside the house, due to their lack of plowing properly. My car is horrible in the snow. So, leave a comment if you'd like a craft from miss lucy. We will have nothing else to do.

See ya lata.

This is my life.

Lucy could see herself in the computer. So she stuck her tongue out.

Enjoy fam.

My poor baby.

Today while Mike was cooking a steak, Lucy grabbed the hot pan. I freaked out and put her hand under cold water but could tell we needed to go to the hospital. She got first and second degree burns on her hands. But the doctors gave us lots of drugs and bandages. We have to go tomorrow to get them changed. Nothing is worse than when your little baby is hurt and there is nothing you can do about it. But I'm sure this is the first of many boo boos.

Here is her cute little bandage in the hospital:

It's probably going to snow.

No pictures today. My 500 dollar, prized posession nikon d40 is being sent out soon to be fixed and the only camera we do have dies after about five seconds.

I finally talked to a nurse about my "near fainting" experiences the past few days. After I give Lucy a bath I usually start to black out and have to sit down wherever I'm standing. It's not like a bath is that much effort but apparently my body has really low blood pressure and blood sugar. I've been cleaning the house like crazy every day, it's that nesting feeling. But I have to stop doing that, for the sake of Jude.

I'm folding some of his new clothes I washed, along with some of Lucy's old unisex onesies I just found in a box in my closet. I love to just sniff the laundry like a weirdo and imagine him all scrunchy on my chest, smelling like powder. MMMMMM... nothing better than a fresh baby.

Apparently more people are reading this blog than I realized. I like knowing people are reading this, so I know I'm not wasting my time.

Well, my troop just walked in. His muddy boots are all over my white carpet. Ta Ta.

Lucy's First Haircut

Miss Lucy's bangs were getting a little out of control so we had to cut them. I don't know if it's technically her "first" haircut because it was just her bangs but I documented it in her baby book anyways. Big Pooh was there, as always, for moral support. She thought it tickled. Now she looks super cute.

Finally!

I finally got the comment link to work. So the blog is up and running. (For the old people, click on post comment under the post).

Nothing has been happening in Montana. I mean, absolutely nothing. As usual. I've been working on the house, unpacking the boxes of Christmas presents that have been sent, and slowly working on Jude's room. We still have so much to buy. By this time, when I was pregnant with Lucy, her room was entirely done. So you can imagine the pressure I'm feeling.

We are hoping to make it out to Rhode Island in the summer time. Take the train to chicago and washington d.c. and finally providence. It's much cheaper and like a little mini vacation on top of a regular vacation. It shortens our time in Rhode Island, but we can't afford to fly anymore. It's getting a little out of hand.

Okay, I'm going to go play with Lucy. She's getting her first hair cut done by momma tonight. If anything, beauty school paid for itself with all the basic haircuts I learned, so I don't have to pay to get Lucy's hair done.
