It's been a while since I've updated. Coincidentally, the last time was about an hour before I realized I was in labor. Jude Gunner was born five hours after I arrived at the hospital. I labored naturally for as long as I could, got my epidural and had Jude 12 pushes later.
He is amazing. I couldn't ask for a happier, brighter baby. And he's the spitting image of Lucy. They could be twins, it's almost creepy.
We are leaving for our Road trip in 7 days. Our car is getting prepped and I've already bought all the snacks and entertainment for Lucy. I'm sure Jude will sleep the whole way. North Dakota is going to suck. Bad. But it will be really nice to have our own car back home.
The kids are both asleep right now. So I'm going to finish my homework and cuddle Mike. I'll update again soon.

Three days
Sorry it's been a while. We've been really busy lately, so many appointments and in and out of the hospital. Jude doesn't want to come out so the doctor offered to induce me on Wednesday. I've been having painful contractions but they always go away. I am getting nervous about the pain and the doctor's induction method, because we are still going for a natural birth, but I just want to meet my baby boy!
It has been gorgeous out. We've been going to the park every day and eating outside. It finally feels like spring (even though it snowed last week.) I even planted flowers in some pots and put them on the front porch.
Nama and Momma come in two weeks! I can't wait! It's nice to have my family here and they can help us with Jude and Lucy. I'm sure I'll be exhuasted but I'd rather be exhausted than lug around this huge baby all day.

opening day!
The Red Sox won their first game! Watching it made me really homesick and I miss Jason Bay but I have a good feeling about this season.
I haven't updated because we've been in and out of the hospital for some leakage issues. We thought we were going to have Jude on Friday but our test for amniotic fluid came out negative. I was disappointed but I know he'll be here eventually. I just want my body back!
For Easter Lucy egg hunted in the back yard and opened her basket. Then we drove to Helena for Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. I don't celebrate Easter so it was pretty much just a regular day.

eggs
I stayed inside all day today and cleaned and caught up on school work. I got so behind during Kak's visit. I have been trying to fight the nesting urge but it's so bad, I can't help it. Tomorrow is a full moon, so maybe I'll pop. I doubt it though.
Mike made me go get my own Twix last night. I've been craving chocolate and bacon (ew). Also, it sucks not being able to talk to Nama for two weeks because she is on a cruise. Momma never picks up and Kak is always in class. I guess I'll just have to talk to Lucy all day.
We got her a potty and the first time we put her on it she peed! I tried again today and she just sat, no pee. But she likes her froggy potty. We are just introducing it to her now, so she is used to it when we can really get into it. After she is used to Jude.

Sorry, i've been idle.
This past week has been the busiest, most exhausting, yet fun week in a long time. Khaki's visit has flown by. We are waiting for Mike to bring us chips and dip so we can watch the Office for the last time until May.
Missoula was fun. Lucy had her bad moments but she really loved the Carousel. She hated swimming but would have rather walked around the pool, making us nervous. She had an appointment this week, she's 31 inches long and 27 pounds. Perfect! Poor baby had to get five shots though.
I go every week now for Jude. On Thursday I was 75% effaced and his head was down. Dr. Lee might give me an ultrasound next week just to double check his position. I tried like heck to get him to turn and I'm hoping it paid off.
Tonight we had the Hunsingers over for Krystal's birthday. We played Beatles monopoly while the guys watched basketball. Nama has been bugging me to blog, so this is going to be short. Our chips and dip are finally here. Here are some pics:

yeehaw
Khaki is finally in Montana and she can finally understand what I mean when I say Great Falls looks like a toilet. We are having fun though! Lucy and Khaki are best friends, she doesn't care about her ma anymore. She's over me.
Tomorrow we are staying in Missoula. It will be Kak's first trip out of town so she will actually get to see bison and mountains.
Yesterday we went to Sara's house and her husband Barry taught us to shoot guns. We've been discussing it for a few weeks and they are leaving soon to move to Florida. Plus Khaki is here so it was the best time to do it! I was so scared at first that it would hurt but he started us off with a little hand gun. I had a pretty good shot with the rifle, I only missed the target once. The shotgun was bad though, it kicked back, I hated it. Jude only jumped during the first shot and then he was over it. He's going to be a cowboy apparently.
Too many pics to post, so here is the album link:

strawberry fields forever
We are getting very excited in the Medeiros household because Aunt Kakak, our first family visitor in a year, is coming on Saturday! Lucy has been saying "Kakakakakak" in preparation. And cleaned her princess room for her. I booked a hotel in Missoula, three hours away, with an indoor waterpark. We are staying next Tuesday...I can't wait to float and heard it might make Jude turn. He's still transverse and it's nerve wracking.
Yesterday we had a few people over from the shop and such. Mike made some good steaks and chicken and I have been eating the left over chocolate dipped strawberries I made all day.
Lucy was extra adorable today, she went to the park. Tomorrow it's going to be gorgeous out. We spend a lot of time outside, for sure.
We are going to get ice cream so here are some pics!
